This is my third week taking part in living arrows with What the Redhead said and it’s really making me look at everything I do differently. In a positive way. I’m trying to create positive memories for my children – as we all are. By taking part in living arrows it’s inspiring me to capture their personalities more.
Lily’s living arrows picture was taken during our day out at Flip Out on Saturday (will be on the blog tomorrow) it completely summed up her week, but especially her weekend. She is always so busy throughout the week with school and out of school activities its nice to spend time with her on the weekend. However, this weekend wasn’t that simple. Her friend came round from Academy and we all went out to flip out. She then slept at her house and went to church with them and came home at 7pm this evening. Lily had an amazing time with her best friend and I’m so glad she has someone she can relate too.
Declan’s photo was taken yesterday morning before football. His determination to do better every week. He isn’t the best player in the team, but he is always trying to be better. Declan has got trainer of the week many times and when he plays he puts his heart into it. I am so proud of how hard he works and doing what he loves.
Harry’s picture is a little different this week. I had to pick one picture for Harry this week and he has been the best brother ever to Imogen. They are all fantastic with her, but Harry’s bond with her is amazing. Yesterday when she was crying he was crying too because he didn’t like to see her cry. When she was drawing on paper on the floor he got down with her to show her how to do it. I love how amazing he is with her and how much he adores her (and happily tells me he loves her more than anyone).
Imogen’s picture had to be one from her DIY Cake Smash. I did have a hard time choosing one as I loved them all, but I thought this one sums her up. Loving food and making sure she eats every last crumb. It was so much fun doing this photo shoot with her and surprisingly easy. Although, at the end Lily pointed out that the backdrop was in a different language. I suppose that’s what you get for £4!!
