Year in review, what’s next?

Two thousand and eighteen has gone by so quickly. I cannot believe that in just 5 days I will have a one year old.

The beginning of this year started off with our amazing new addition, a little sister for Lily, Declan and Harry born on 5th January 2018 at 2.51pm weighing 8lb 9oz. I remember the day she was born, it went so quickly and was an amazing experience.

The day Imogen was born

We have had some fantastic camping trips throughout the year – Imogen loving the camping life and one of which we went to the Eisteddfod and Lily did fantastic with her Ensemble group and got through to stage and went on the television to sing their amazing song. They then come second in the whole of Wales. We were so proud of her – still are.

I turned the dreaded 30 back in June – but a lovely opportunity to get all the family together.

We got Imogen Christened and it was a beautiful day and she is so lucky to have amazing Godparents and family around her to help her celebrate her day.

Among all these Lily took part in two shows for The Academy, she turned TEN!! Which means I am just three years away from having a teenager in the house, and we had an amazing Christmas – more about this in a future post.

For this year I have made a few resolutions and goals that I hope to try and aim for:

I’d like to be able to keep up with this blog for a month to start with – small goals, hopefully I will still be going this time next year.

I want to make more use out of our National Trust cards and try and visit at least one place a month, more in the holidays of course.

My personal goals are to try and get fit and healthier, I don’t want to say lose weight – although that would be a bonus. I just want to get fitter so I can actually run around with the kids for longer.

What are your goals for the year?
