So Halloween is just 2 week away I am so excited (even though I have just booked to see the Christmas Panto on Christmas Eve and to visit the winter wonderland eeeek Christmas isn’t far away!) Apart from Christmas, Halloween is my most favourite holiday! I love carving pumpkins with the kids!! These are our pumpkins from last year!

Harry’s is a funny bat, Lily’s is Ariel, Declan’s is batman, mine was a normal pumpkin and Dan attempted to make a ghost.

I love to make their costumes, Lily is going to be using hers from her birthday party as she had a Maleficent birthday party so can get away with it for Halloween! Harry is going to be the crow Diaval, and Declan wants to be a Zombie but I really want him to be a Mummy, so we shall see how that goes!

I will hopefully be able to show you their costumes altogether next Friday so look out for that post!

We have a party to go to on Halloween night and then will go trick or treating on the way home 😀

Are you looking forward to Halloween? How do you celebrate (if at all)? Do you have any costume ideas? I look forward to reading them in the comments!

    1. I don’t think me or Dan are going to dress up this year – although we might do I shall see 😉 I will probably be a witch and Dan a vampire as usually – very original 😉 haha

    1. oo thats a great tip thank you as I find ours do start to smell after a while.
Download a template from the internet, there are hundreds and you can either trace it on or attempt it free hand 😀

  2. Halloween is BIG here! We haven’t done too much so far this year, the house move has taken all my energy, but last year we went all out with decorations etc 🙂 Must at least do some crafts with them! We’re off to the boys school pumpkin festival later this morning, so I’ll let them get their pumpkins at least 🙂 We’ll have two ninjas and a princess Sofia this year..! #PoCoLo

    1. I am hoping to do crafts and activities once the children break up from school on 24th 😀 Looking forward to your Halloween posts 😀

    1. My little one wasn’t bothered last year but he wasn’t yet one – he loved spooning the middle out though. This year he will be nearly 2 so I am hoping he will take more of an interest 🙂

    1. Our pumpkins got delivered yesterday and the kids can’t wait to carve them so it has definitely become a tradition in our house! I love Halloween 🙂
